L’âme Du Musc

Natural animal musk is the raw material, after oud, that I prefer. Because, just like oud, it has multiple facets, each musk is different, and it is for this reason that it is a great pleasure when I work with it.
I could have been content to make a perfume with only musk, some people do it, with more or less success, but even if I find the concept interesting, I went in a completely different direction.
Starting with a simple question “If musk had a soul, what would its smell be”, and I began to work on this perfume, always keeping this maxim in mind.
I therefore tried to recreate as best as possible « L’âme du musc » (the soul of musk), according to my vision, by exploring its different facets, and translating them into ingredients.
For me, natural musk has three main facets and other auxiliaries.
The main facet is on the animal side, so I worked on the animal smell of musk through a mix of three ouds from Thailand, each bringing its own animal facet to the perfume.
Its second facet is floral, I looked for all the flowers that I can smell through a musk, and I dosed each one differently.
And the last facet represents its incense side, through numerous woods, smoke and natural animal notes.
Finally, the auxiliary notes are almost sweet, sweet and bitter.
