BODHI TREE is a beautifully airy, floral triptych of orange blossom, frangipani and white lotus on an amber base with tonka, vanilla and a dragon’s lair barrel of my precious, hoarded stock of Indian sandalwood. Bodhi Tree has the largest quantity of sandalwood used in any of my fragrances to date. I decided to invest all that I had collected over the years in a final ‘temple’ scent that would truly sing the song of Santalum Album; the rāga of pure Indian sandalwood. Bodhi Tree reveals the true nature of real sandalwood, to gently drift through….

Sandalwood has the capacity to invite the mind to soften, to yield, to surrender its grip and become quiet and still. Pliable, open, fluid.

This perfume is a single stick of pure sandalwood incense, tenderly placed alongside a small dish of floating frangipanis, a white lotus flower, some orange blossoms as an offering to tranquility.

There’s no seduction here, no drama, no glamour. There is only pure awareness, a clear state of consciousness, a witnessing of time and space…. a deep inner peace.
