With our latest creation, Sheng (生), we wanted to capture the profound beauty of life’s emergence. Shēng means “life” in Chinese, and for us, this perfume is a celebration of germination, of that incredible moment when life bursts forth from a seed, or when countless microscopic lives awaken within the rich soil of a forest floor. It’s the dancing of beautiful life in myriad species, a vibrant, uplifting symphony. We aimed to bottle that very energy: fresh, vital, and deeply connected to the Earth.

In French, it means “hidden.” Beyond the irresistible green radiance tucked deep within the forest, CACHÉ also draws from an ancient Greek myth. Prometheus, the rebellious Titan, saw humankind trembling in darkness and cold. Defying divine decree, he concealed a spark of fire within a hollow fennel stalk and carried it down to earth. From that moment, humanity found warmth and light, and the power to change its fate.
