Let Me Out
$130.00
Let Me Out· Every time I see you, my heart feels so peaceful… The inspiration for breaking the cocoon comes from David Tao’s song “Butterfly.” Meanwhile, there’s also a reflection under the Sha Xī starry sky: longing to be quietly alone like this, yet also wishing to step out and become a child of nature. If ”Talking To The Moon” symbolizes confronting death, then ”Let Me Out” expresses the hope forrebirth. “I can live again, I can regain my courage; your love is like oxygen aiding my breath, allowing me to breathe once more.”

INTERPRETATION
The perfumer first used Labaidang, fermented
wool, and iris absolute containing 85% iris terebine
to build an inner cocoon (“Leave Me Alone”); then,
he opened a gap in the cocoon with clove bud,
perilla, and turmeric leaves; finally, he accented it
with Bulgarian white rose, making the entire scent
coherent andlight.
The fragrance transports people into the
perspective of a butterfly just emerging from its
cocoon—still struggling to spread its wings, yet its
antennae faintly perceive the endless grassland,
the sky andearth. Invisible, but known.
HIGHLIGHT
Perilla: A highlight in Asian culinary culture, yet rarely
used in perfumery, like a zesty and moist blend of cumin
and green peach;
Wool: A rare natural animal scent that brings a vivid
fermentation note;
White Rose: Bulgaria’s most valuable rose variety, less
sweet and heavy compared to Damask rose, with a touch
of freshness, as if a pear addition in rose.
