Feels both simple and luxurious at the same time. Just six materials, but each one pulls its weight. The rose and oud sit right in the center, deep and resinous, while the deer musk and the trio of ambergris give it this salty animalic hum in the background. The vanilla and sandalwood round things out with a creamy sweetness, so it never feels too sharp. It is a classic rose–oud–musk–ambergris style, but with the musk and ambergris used more like anchors than showpieces. Dense, woody, slightly exotic, very refined.
