Alas Purwo

Alas Purwo is a forest on the eastern tip of Java Island. This forest ecosystem consists of lowland rainforest. The name Alas Purwo itself is based on the legend of the origin of Java, which means “Forest of the Beginning.” I’ve created a perfume called Alas Purwo with my own version.
Top notes you will find a fresh aroma of citrus that is slightly cool and soft combined with the aroma of flowers like when you enter Alas Purwo with its cool and calming air.
Heart notes, you will find a floral scent combined with Retrofractum and vintage galbanum, creating a floral, green, resinous, slightly moist nuance, as if you were in the middle of a preserved forest.
Base notes, you’ll find earthy, oceanic notes of ambergris, vanilla notes of castoreum, and woody notes like oud incense, as if you were at the edge of a forest surrounded by a beach.
I used three oud oils from #Sukooud , for the base notes: Malinau, Mahakamhulu, and Merauke.
