Pandan Leaf

Mandara rose, a mountain high,
as pillar set against the sky.
Serpents coiled with endless might,
bound it fast in spiral tight.

Gods and demons, bright array,
gathered fierce at ocean??s sway.
Churned the nectar, heaven??s prize,
from milk-white sea, where wonder lies.

Waves resounded, wild and strong,
the cosmic tide in seething song.
Kurma plunged to waters deep,
upholding earth on shell to keep.
