FortuneSoul is a fragrance community and boutique retailer founded by three perfume enthusiasts and headquartered in Shanghai. We began with a simple, resonant belief: scent is not just a set of molecules, it is humanity’s most primal, universal language of empathy.
Our purpose is to spread love and warmth through the poetry of aroma.
Our Story
On journeys around the world, we kept discovering distinctive niche and artisanal perfume houses, so beautifully crafted, often undiscovered, and hard to access. That sparked a vision: a “perfume utopia” that connects curious noses globally, where people freely exchange ideas and sensory experiences, deepen their lives with distinctive scents, and spark positive change through olfactory journeys.
We first nurtured a close-knit community to talk all things scent from new releases, brand stories, and life itself. As interest grew, we built a seamless online ecosystem, so members could explore and purchase these hard-to-find fragrances with ease.
While we started online, we’ve always valued offline connection. We host intimate meetups and weekend market activations, and we participate in major Chinese fragrance exhibitions. These immersive spaces let people experience perfume as it’s meant to be:
